Long Island Performances of The Nutcracker
The holiday season is an enchanting time of year for kids of all ages and enjoying a performance of The Nutcracker is a cherished tradition for many families. Whether The Nutcracker is a well-loved annual family outing or you want to start a new family tradition, there's no shortage of opportunities to take in this magical theatrical performance on Long Island. Our real estate agents are here with four performances for you and your family to experience.

  1. Seiskaya Ballet's The Nutcracker 2018
    Staller Center for the Arts, 100 Nicolls Road, Stony Brook

    Often considered Long Island's premiere production of The Nutcracker, this classical ballet rendition featuring the Seiskaya Ballet Company captures the childlike magic of the holiday season. It's scheduled for six performances from December 20-23.

  2. Ballet Long Island
    1863 Pond Road, Ronkonkoma

    Four performances of The Nutcracker Act II will be held at Ballet Long Island from December 19-22. Act II picks up where Clara and the Prince travel to the beautiful Land of Sweets and features the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy, the Waltz of the Flowers and more. This shorter version of the classic tale is perfect for young children.

    A whimsical full-length performance of The Nutcracker features a cast that includes Ballet Long Island's professional dancers and students. It's scheduled for a total of three performances on December 27-28. You can also pick up unique holiday gifts for the Nutcracker aficionados in your life at the boutique in the lobby. *Please note that these full-length performances on Dec 27-28 will be held at The Noel S.   3. Eglevsky Ballet in The Nutcracker
    Tilles Center for the Performing Arts, 720 Northern Boulevard, Brookville

    The renowned Eglevsky Ballet Company and students from the Eglevsky Ballet Academy present a magnificent production of The Nutcracker in just one performance on December 15, 2018. Tchaikovsky's magnificent score will be played by the Massapequa Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of maestro David Bernard.

  4. Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker-Royal Ballet
    Cinema Arts Centre, 423 Park Avenue, Huntington

    A spectacular way to experience the magic of ballet on the big screen, the world-class Royal Ballet offers an up-close and personal look at this Russian ballet classic with striking period details, dancing snowflakes and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and interviews. You can experience this top-notch broadcast of The Nutcracker performed by the U.K.'s finest dance company at The Cinema Arts Centre for just one show on Sunday, December 16.
