Laffey Real Estate, Long Island's premier family owned residential real estate brokerage, is pleased to announce the promotion of Christos Tsouratakis to the role of Branch Manager of the Little Neck office.  The announcement was made jointly by principals, Mark T. Laffey and Philip C. Laffey, the Broker-Owners of the old firm. 

In 2015, Christos came to the firm as a licensed real estate sales person in our Jackson Heights office.  For more than four years, he maintained consistent top producer status. Laffey Real Estate #followstheorange but October is Pink in support of breast cancer awareness.  The firm recognizes Edith E. Katz, Nurse Educator and Licensed Real Estate Associate Broker, and the Lani Hopp Hadassah in this year's drive to encourage early detection and prevention.

October is National Bullying Prevention Month.  Laffey Real Estate stands with the country to encourage schools, communities and organizations to work together to stop bullying and cyberbullying. The goal is end to hatred and racism by increasing awareness of the prevalence and impact of all forms of bullying on all children and adults of all ages.  Show your support with your Orange!!

Bullying doesn't only happen in the classroom.  It is a social issue with many different guises.  In particular, the rise of online or cyberbullying is becoming more prevalent.  The National Center for Education Statistics, a research center with the U.S. Education Department states that "twenty percent of students between the ages of 12 and 18 were bullied during the 2016-2017 school year."  While

Greenvale, NY  (August 29, 2019)  – Laffey Real Estate is pleased to announce the sale of the late Oleg Cassini's sprawling 43 acre estate in Oyster Bay Cove.  This is the highest recorded price for a home in Nassau County year to date 2019. Located at 313 McCouns in Oyster Bay Cove, the estate sold for $9,035,000 million in less than 260 days.  Philip C. Laffey and Mark T. Laffey, Broker Owners, handled both sides of the transaction.  .
